Getting Ready

We still have a ways to go before the girl's room is ready, but this is a good start.

At 31 weeks I am now on bed rest. Nothing is wrong with the girls or me, my doctor just wants to make sure they stay put for as long as possible. In 5 short weeks it will be okay for the girls to come and is average time for twins. Our goal is to make it to 38 weeks which is 7 weeks away. The girls will be here sooner than we know it. I am so excited!

Picture Day

I had an ultra sound today. She didn't take very many pictures and the ones she did take you have to be familiar with reading ultra sound pictures to see the image but I wanted to post them anyway. This one is of Baby A’s profile. One hand is in her mouth the other one is above her face.

I expected this one the least. I didn't even know you could see hair in ultra sounds but apparently Baby A has hair! The ultrasound tech said that she usually doesn't see hair this early, so it might be braidable by the time she is born. I always pictured my babies to be bald. I guess only time will tell.



This one shows Baby B's chubby cheeks. The image is looking straight down onto her face.

And here is the proud mom! I am 2 days from 28 weeks (a little over 6 months). My last trimester. Only 10 weeks left. My belly is defininately showing now and getting bigger everyday. :)
